While I am writing is 9:00 am, I am sitting in my kitchen where the recipes, articles and important decisions of the house starts. Dressed in a jumpsuit with hair up that needs a wash tonight, and obviously without make-up (a little different from the pictures). Next to me, the April edition of Marianne Magazine just released, and the phone next to it that never stops ringing. Only close friends knew about the upcoming article.
And that’s how I decided to write an “article of the article”. Why? Because I believe it is right and proper to thank an amazing editorial staff that for years has been running such an important newspaper in the Czech Republic, a point of reference for many women of different age groups. Marianne is unique because is close to women, to the thousand aspects that every woman faces every day, to the thousand needs that every of them search and to thousand inspirations they must have to keep up with the times. And I am honored, to a small extent, that the editorial staff asked me to share my home in full Easter theme. (continues below)
Like all women, I fight as well over the years, juggling between being a mother, a woman and a manager with sometimes the feeling to be like a clown who throws balls in the air, being careful not to drop any of them. But in the frenzy, or thanks to it, I learned one thing. To step back. Although technology helps us to keep up with the times, to “eat” photos and brief information because there is no time to waste, well, I often say stop.
Either is avoiding unhealthy and quickly meals, or while socializing I prefer to talk instead messaging. When it comes to information I try to avoid getting intoxicated with the internet, so I rather buy a magazine or a book and I read, leaf through, get inspired. By doing so, I give once in a while oxygen to my mind. (continues below)
The motto “keep up with the times” is fine for some things, but for others is important to escape from a passive behavior.
To whom bought already Marianne, I wish a good reading whether is next to a cup of coffee at breakfast, tea at 5 or in the evening accompanied by a glass of wine. As always, it will take me days to get through all the articles that I am sure at the end I will be fully hydrated!
Yours, Moni
